Jesus declares that he is the true vine—the faithful fulfilment of God’s people—and that real life is found only through connection to him. Rather than striving to produce fruit on our own, we are invited to abide in him, trusting that God himself is at work in us, pruning and shaping our lives. As we remain in that relationship, his life flows through us, producing the kind of love that reflects the very heart of God.
